LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Frustrated by the lack of similar services and sensitive to the needs of clients who came to the organization seeking assistance, Habitat for Humanity Lake County initiated the Brush of Kindness Critical Home Repair Program in 2011.

To date, the organization has assisted nearly 400 qualified households throughout Lake County.

Available repairs range from the replacement of broken windows, installation of heating and cooling systems, electrical work and plumbing repair to flooring, handicap accessibility modifications, installation of wheelchair ramps and lifts, deck and step repair and more.

Services are available to any resident who meets the income and application qualifications of the program.
