KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Lake County's Window to the Universe is held on the third Saturday of each month.
The evening's event, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., includes a science topic presentation, a full dome theater experience and astronomical viewing.
Join them Oct. 19 as guest presenter Stephen Pollaine discusses “The Life and Death of Stars.”
Dr. Pollaine has a Ph.D. in astrophysics from U.C. Berkeley, and a B.S. from Yale.
He worked for more than 30 years at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in fusion energy research. He is now retired and living in Loch Lomond.
Public events are held regardless of weather.
Suggested donation is $5 per adult, $3 per child under 12 years.
