LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Lake Transit Authority said it is temporarily cutting back on routes due to a lack of available drivers.
“Due to an unforeseen driver shortage,” Lake Transit said that effective Monday, Aug. 26 and until further notice, it is suspending weekday service on the last eastbound run of Route 1 along the north shore of Clearlake, the last loop of Route 2 between Cobb and Middletown, the last loop of Route 4A between the Rivieras and Lakeport, and half of the afternoon runs of Route 8 in Lakeport.
Saturday service will continue to operate as scheduled, Lake Transit reported.
Additionally, the times for eastbound Route 7 and the last two eastbound runs of Route 4 have been adjusted to better align with the rest of the system.
Details of all these changes can be found on the updated schedules on Lake Transit’s website or by calling dispatch at 707-994-3334.
