Forecast calls for rain to return in new year’s first week
The agency said winter weather systems will bring the rainstorms, expected to move over Northern California beginning on Wednesday.
The specific Lake County forecast calls for patchy fog conditions on Monday morning with cloudy conditions for much of the day on Monday and Tuesday.
The local forecast predicts chances of rain beginning during the day on Wednesday and continuing through Sunday.
Light winds also are in the forecast throughout Lake County this week.
From Wednesday through the weekend, temperatures are expected to range from the low 30s at night to the low 50s in the Lakeport area, while other parts of the county, including Kelseyville and Middletown, are forecast to have nighttime temperatures in the 40s, ranging up to the high 50s in the daytime.
