Lakeport Police logs: Friday, July 24

12:08 a.m. – Shots being fired reported on Royale Ave in Lakeport. Gun shots or fireworks possibly from the apartment complex near residence that reported.


2:41 a.m. – Woman reported that she left her purse in a car and was afraid of the driver because the driver said she would hurt her, so she asked police to get her purse.


6:22 a.m. – Burglar alarm reported at business in Third Street.


11:15 a.m. – Burglar alarm sounded at the Department of Motor Vehicles.


11:50 a.m. – Juveniles reported to be riding bicycles at the Terrace Middle School campus in Lakeport.


4:17 p.m. – Illegally parked car in front of City Hall on Park Street reported.


5:23 p.m. – Three juveniles, two males and one female, 15 to 18 years old, were reported to be throwing rocks at the county Air Quality Control building. They were given a warning.


7:20 p.m. – A Hispanic male adult was reportedly walking and weaving into the roadway at 650 S. Main St.


8:42 p.m. – Woman reported that a man was seen at Library Park this evening who is not supposed to be near children. She back-handed him and he left in his vehicle.


9:40 p.m. – Reports of what sounded like something being hit behind Lakeview Senior Apartments on Bevins. No voices or anything else heard.


10:25 p.m. – Female in Middletown reported that male took their children and won’t give them back.


10:48 p.m. – Neighbor on Via Del Cabana reports that six juvenile males and females are in the city swimming pool after 10 p.m., when it is supposed to be closed. He wants them to leave and is afraid to confront them. Officers issue warning.


11:48 p.m. – Public disturbance reported. Male who has been drinking in verbal altercation with his girlfriend. Scotts Valley Road.


11:48 p.m. – Male subject has been at grocery store on 11th most of the day. Caller states subject just got out of the hospital and missed a bus. Subject is sleeping near the café by the register and the store is getting ready to close.
