Lakeport Police logs: Thursday, June 11

2:17 a.m. – Four shots, possibly from a handgun, heard at Lange and Forest. Male subject reportedly has been firing round in front of his residence and may also be drinking. His elderly mother also is in the residence.


10:39 a.m. – Theft of water service reported by business in the 100 block of S. Main. Report taken.


1:21 p.m. – Lakeport Unified School District reports receiving several calls from an anonymous man saying people keep running the stop sign on Lange and he is concerned they are going to get hit.


1:29 p.m. – Warning issued during traffic stop at Hillcrest and Giselman.


3:58 p.m. – Warning issued during traffic stop at Ruby Drive.


4:55 p.m. – Subject is causing a problem at a business in the 900 block of Parallel Drive.


7:24 p.m. – Possible drunk driver reported on 11th. Gone on arrival.


7:38 p.m. – Male subject is burning things on Hohape Avenue and has been since 4 p.m.


8:22 p.m. – Ongoing issue with a barking dog on Forest Drive.


8:32 p.m. – Warning issued to a group of juveniles skateboarding behind the gym at Terrace Middle School on Lange.


10:44 p.m. – Be on the lookout for a Ford Explorer driving around 30 to 40 miles per hour, swerving and excessive braking.


11:20 p.m. – Problem with a male subject, possibly drunk, who is yelling at himself on Loch Drive.


11:42 p.m. – Warning issued for music disturbance on Lakeshore Boulevard.
