NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IF A HEARING IS REQUESTED 

FOR CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF A MINOR USE PERMIT 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Zoning Administrator will hold a public  hearing if a hearing is requested by an interested party on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at  2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor in the Lake County Courthouse, located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. 

No public hearing will be held unless a written request for a public hearing is submitted  by 5:00 P.M., Wednesday January 25, 2023 to the Community Development Department,  Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California 

CASE#: MUP 22-08; CE 22-61 

APPLICANT: GREENFIRE ENERGY, INC. 

REQUEST: Install a closed-loop, down bore heat exchanger system (GreenFire Energy  Steam Dominated GreenLoop (SDGL)] into the existing Davies State 1 geothermal well,  to test system as a proof of concept. 

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION 15301, Class 1 - (15301 (b)) 

LOCATION: 20055 Foard Road, Middletown (APN 013-058-24) 

SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT: 1

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to be present at the public hearing. All persons may provide public comment at the time and place indicated above. A staff report will be available for review 72 hours prior to the hearing upon request. If you  challenge the action of the Lake County Zoning Administrator on any of the above stated items  in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this  notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Zoning Administrator at, or 72  hours prior to, the public hearing.
