City of Clearlake: Aug. 5 public hearing on repealing and replacing Chapter 17 of the Clearlake Municipal Code

CITY OF CLEARLAKE
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Clearlake will hold a public hearing at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, CA., to consider the following:

• Repealing and replacing Chapter 17 of the Clearlake Municipal Code “Floodplain Management” as reviewed by FEMA and DWR in order to ensure compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program.

All written comments received before the beginning of the City Council Meeting will be read aloud during the hearing for up to three minutes per comment. Effective April 1st, 2021, the public may attend City Council meetings in person or via Zoom. You may also view the meeting live on YouTube at the City of Clearlake’s YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTyifT_nKS-3woxEu1ilBXA) or via “Lake County PEG TV Live Stream” at https://www.youtube.com/user/LakeCountyPegTV/featured. If anyone would like to participate live via Zoom, the meeting link can be found in the agenda upon circulation (available at www.clearlake.ca.us) in compliance with the Brown Act. Copies of the agenda packet will also be available at City Hall at 14050 Olympic Drive.
