Lake County International Charter School celebrates with third annual 'Live & Give' event

MIDDLETOWN – Lake County International Charter School (LCICS) is holding its third annual Live & Give Celebration and Auction.

This fun-filled event will again be held at the Moore Family Winery at 11990 Bottle Rock Road on Cobb Mountain on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“LCICS has accomplished so much in just a few years,” said Director Karl Reichman. “We are extremely proud of our accreditation with WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and our authorization as an IB World School, as well as having reached all of our Federal NCLB (No Child Left Behind) goals, and to have achieved a 100-point growth on the school’s API - STAR Test last spring. This year’s Live & Give theme, '1970’s Flashback,' will be an exciting celebration of both our growth and achievements.”

LCICS invites you to join them wearing your funkiest 1970s clothing or cocktail attire. Tickets can be purchased for $25 per person at the LCICS Office at 15872 Armstrong Street or D’s Coffee & Tea Shop at 21187 Calistoga Road in Middletown, by calling 707-963-3063 or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. The ticket price a complimentary cup of micro-brewed ale donated by the Mount St. Helena Brewing Company, 70’s themed finger foods created by Chic Le Chef in Hidden Valley Lake, music by local DJ Kevi Kev of KMH Productions, dancing, and both silent and live auctions. Moore Family wines will be available for purchase by the glass or the bottle.

LCICS is a tuition-free, kindergarten through eighth grade public, school that is WASC accredited and an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World school providing students with an inquiry-based, enriched education in a nurturing environment.

At LCICS, students are taught to become competent and self-motivated individuals with a commitment to life-long learning, enabling them to reach their full potentials as literate, knowledgeable, principled and responsible global citizens of the 21st century.
