Obits

Michael Charles Brainerd
September 3, 1952 - September 9, 2014

You will be missed. We loved you.
You were a gentle and kind soul.
A hard working man.  Someone who
cared for others and enjoyed the
outdoors, sports, and fishing.
May you rest in peace.

Love,
Your son and daughter

It was Marion’s wish to print this poem in her obituary.

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set on me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a sole set free,
Miss me a Little – But not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love we shared,
Miss me – But let me go,
For this is a journey that we all must take,
And each must go it alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,
Miss me – But let me Go.

There will be a barbecue at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at her home for family and friends to celebrate Marion’s life. For more information email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
