NICE, Calif. – David Lee Gonzales, a resident of Nice, lost his battle to cancer Aug. 23, 2015, at the age of 61.

He was born March 24, 1954 in San Francisco.

He served and retired from California Department of Forestry.

David enjoyed playing poker, boating on the lake and walking outdoors.

He is survived by his mother, Irene; daughters, Teresa, Rose, Gina and Angel; grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriella and Grant; his wife, Lourdes and brother, Ken.

David is now at peace with his first wife, Shirley; father, Thomas; and brothers, Jim and Tom.

Visitation will be at Chapel of the Lakes, 1625 N. High St., Lakeport, on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 3 to 6 p.m. Rosary will begin at 6 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 801 N. Main St., Lakeport,  on Friday, Aug. 28, at noon.

David will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lakeport.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lillian Sullivan passed away peacefully Aug. 15, 2015.

She was born July 29, 1936, in Upper Lake to Gilbert and Edith Demeo.

Lillian is survived by Bill (Angie) Sullivan, Darrell (Suzie) Sullivan and Mike Sullivan.

She was blessed with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Heather Marie Reordan of Lakeport passed away on Aug. 19, 2015, after her battle with cancer.

She is survived by her daughter, Scarlett Michelle; parents, Ric and Ginny; sister, Michelle (Ron); brother, Lance (Andrea); nephews, David James, Weston and Zachary; her loving boyfriend, Ashley Watkins; Scarlett's father, Edward Mattson; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and many, many loving friends.

A Rosary service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 6:30 p.m.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 3 p.m.

Following the service there will be a gathering at the Clearlake Club in Lakeport at 5 p.m.

The family prefers contributions to the trust fund for Heather's daughter, Scarlett Michelle, at Westamerica Bank in Lakeport.

To know Heather was to love her. She made friends wherever she was and always brought a smile to our hearts.

She will be greatly missed by all ...

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Elizabeth Christine Vollelunga, 86, peacefully passed Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport.

Her love and memories will live on with her husband, Anthony Vollelunga; their son, Phil (Valerie); her grandchildren Alexzander (Nikki), Mark (Sarah) and David; and three great-grandchildren, among other friends and family.

Funeral services will be performed by Father Oscar Diaz at Parish of St. Mary Immaculate on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 9 a.m.

She will be interned at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma, Calif., in the Corridor of Eternity Mausoleum at an later date.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Donna Thibeau, born in San Bernardino on May 31, 1937, passed away peacefully at her Lakeport home Aug. 11, 2015.

Donna moved to Sonoma in 1951 where she attended Sonoma Valley High School. She loved playing girls softball and later passed down the love of ball to her grandchildren.

She fell in love with her high school sweetheart Vaughn Thibeau. They married in November of 1954.

Together they raised four sons, Kevan, Lenn, Glenn and Mark. Donna was blessed to have had 32 years of marriage with her husband Vaughn who preceded her in death in 1986.

Donna was not only a loving daughter, wife and mother but had an amazing outlook on life.

She was very kind and had many dear friends she held close to her heart. She loved her Bay Area teams and was a faithful 49er fan and a huge San Francisco Giants fan.

She enjoyed being outdoors and had an outpouring love for her animals as well as gambling occasionally.

Later in life, Donna moved to Lakeport where she had most of her family around her.

She was blessed with six grandchildren and later was blessed with seven great-grandchildren who called her “Old Ma.”

She was and always will be loved and adored by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Donna is survived by her two sisters, Teri Fry and Jeanne Ford and brother, Gary Bauer; her four sons, Kevan (Betty) Thibeau, Lenn, Glen, and Mark Thibeau; her six grandchildren, Stephani (Brian) Gilliland, Shannon (Rick) Cook, Jacob (Jaymie) Thibeau, Josh, Shanae and Ben; her great-grandchildren, Max, Liberty, Emma, Zoe, Tyler, Laynie and Ivy.
