LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — William Burton Rees III was born on Aug. 6, 1942, and entered into rest on July 14, 2023.

Bill was an honorable man. He served his country and was a proud Marine Corps veteran.

He was also a firefighter and EMT for the Upper Lake Fire Department for 15 years.

Bill was a wonderful friend and will be missed.

Graveside funeral service will be held at Hartley Cemetery in Lakeport on Tuesday, July 25, at 10 a.m.
