LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Paul Louis Schultz.

He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60 on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022.

He was born in Santa Rosa, California, on Nov. 18, 1961, to mother Sandra Lee Hage and father Robert Lee Schultz.

He was a graduate of the Ukiah High School class of 1980 in Ukiah, California.

He leaves behind his daughter, Chelsea, and son, Davis; his brothers, David and Kip; sister, Francis; Aunt Shirley, Uncle Paul and Herb; cousins, Rhonda, Rochelle, Lancy, Traci and Travis; sisters-in-law, Ruby, Rose and Kathy; brother-in-law, Greg; nieces, Renee, Claire, Sarah and Wendy; and nephews, Chase, Cade, Justin and Tyler.

Anyone who met him could easily tell how special of a person he is. You could always feel his big heart and loving nature.

He was an amazing and respectable man who loved his family and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who asked. He loved doing acts of kindness for others.

He is unexpectedly at peace and will rest easy with his wife, Rheta; mother, Sandra; father, Robert; mother-in-law, Virgie; grandmother, Neoma; grandfather, Harold; uncle, Harold Jr.; and Aunt Lynn and Uncle Jimmy.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Dec. 10 at the Lucerne Community Church, 5870 Highway 20 in Lucerne. There will be a small potluck after.
