LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Lloyd Kendall Minor was born July 13, 1954, in Vallejo, California, to Leonard Minor and Euna Mae Whitehead.

He passed away at 67 years old due to heart failure on Nov. 8, 2021, in Clearlake Oaks.

Lloyd was one of nine siblings raised in East Palo Alto.

Upon graduating high school, he received an athletic scholarship to Washington State University, a proud moment for his high school and EPA.

He was an avid athlete, lover of jazz music, the Los Angeles Lakers, cooking and fishing.

He retired as a caretaker who built lasting friendships with all of his clients and their families.

Lloyd is survived by his sister, Elayne Danks Whitehead; his brothers, Christopher, Arnold, and Lincoln Minor; son, Vaughn Ginette; daughter, Aja Minor; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Lloyd at an undetermined day and time but can be guaranteed to be unique and nontraditional — just like him.
