Ruby Krizan Price, 91, passed away October 26, 2017 after several months battling Lewy Body Dementia.

She was born Aug. 20, 1926 in West, Texas to parents Victor and Mary Krizan.

After living many years in San Angelo, Texas, Ruby moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she met and married Donald Price, who preceded her in death in 2003.

Ruby and Don moved to Belmont, Calif., and lived there for over 25 years, raising four children.

Ruby worked in the gift wrap department at Macy's in the Hillsdale Mall for 20 years before she and Don retired to Clearlake, Calif.

Ruby is survived by her children, Gordon Price of San Mateo, Ken Price and his wife Wendy of Clearlake, and Carol Bassemier and her husband Bret of Richmond, Va.; and her only grandchild, Sean Bassemier of Richmond, Va. Her son, Craig Price, preceded her in death in 1993.

She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Galvan of San Jose. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Krizan, and sisters, Margie Socha and Elaine Robertson.
