CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Katherine Ann Hayden died Nov. 2, 2017, after a years-long struggle against liver disease. She passed away at her home in Clearlake at the age of 58.

Kathy, as she known by friends and family alike, was a born March 21, 1959, and grew up in Santa Clara with her parents, Ann and Ralph Hayden, and her older brother, James Hayden.

Kathy was a rebel who lived life on her own terms, but always with a generous heart: Kathy always saw the best in those around her. She loved animals, particularly dogs.

She is survived by her brother, Jim Hayden, and sister-in-law, Nancy Hayden of Saratoga; cousins, Mark Revis of Los Angeles, and Steven Revis and his wife, Lee, of Valdez, Alaska.

As per Kathy's request, no funeral service will be held.

"Of all the good souls I've known, she truly is one," said her cousin Steve.

The family wishes to thank Stephanie and Cal of Hospice Services of Lake County and Ceileste Gorden, each of whom provided care and solace during Kathy's final days.

Farewell Kathy – you were just too good for this world.
