NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – Rizaline Rosemarie Raymundo, age 88, lived in Lakeport with her daughter Patricia for 16 years. She was originally from San Jose, Calif.

Rizaline passed away quietly at Redwood Cove Healthcare Center in Ukiah on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.

Rizaline was born July 14, 1929. She worked and lived to sacrificial lengths to provide for her parents and daughter.

Since 1958 she was clerical support and secretary for Social Services, the Commission on the Status of Women and The Sheriff's Office of Santa Clara County; yet Rizaline was very active with the Santa Clara Filipino American Historical Society (FANHS) and Stockton FANHS.

She is an established author of "Tomorrow's Memories, A Diary, 1924-1928,” her mother's memoirs.

She eventually was not able to continue her involvement with FANHS starting 2011, due to travel distance and the start of her failing health.

Her life could truly be described honorably by family and friends alone.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia An Raymundo; grandson, Christopher A. Fry; great-grandchildren, Marina C. Fry Tapia, Christopher C. Fry Jr., Joseph C. Fry and Francisco C. Fry; nephews, Donn Raymundo and Andrew Raymundo; niece, Lei-Anna Raymundo-Bertelsen; grand-nephews, Cedar and Brendan Raymundo; and grand-nieces, Maria and Mozelle.

For our friends established here in Lake County, Calif., who have cared deeply for my Mom, you are invited to attend an "offering the Holy Mass for the repose of the soul," Sunday, Aug. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Parish of St. Mary Immaculate, 801 N. Main St., Lakeport.
