While attending the University of Wisconsin, she met her love for life, James P. Burnside while he was in the Navy and attending school.

They married and had two children, John Burnside and Elizabeth “Belle” Eleen.

James and John preceded Elizabeth in passing.

She worked as a medical records transcriptionist for 15 years at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. She also worked for Dr. Stanley and Dr. Farley among other physicians for 10-plus years after leaving Sutter Lakeside.

Her loss will be felt by many, especially her daughter, “Belle” Eleen; granddaughter, Kimberly A. Ritchie; great-grandchildren, Heather Belle Pemberton and Keith Pemberton; step-grandson, John D. Eleen (Molly) Kennedy and Madison Eleen.

She also leaves behind Konocti Lioness and swim mates at Quail Run, and of course her Saturday Farkle Friends will miss her rolling those dice.
