1935-2015

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Fred Brown, 80, of Lakeport, and formerly of San Francisco and Montague, Calif., died March 5, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, Nancy Warner, Gordon (Louise) Brown and Theresa (Jack) Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Barbara Brown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his siblings Marvin (Alayne), John (Louise) and Linda (Tom) Roop.

Fred was predeceased by his son, Paul Brown of Lakeport and grandson, Michael Brown.

Fred was a retired landscaper who loved the outdoors and his pets.

Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes, 1625 High St., Lakeport, from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 12. An internment service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Highway 175 (between Ryan Road and Dixon Drive) in Lakeport will take place beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13.
