James D. Cooper
Aug. 8, 1932 – Feb. 4, 2015

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – James Cooper, a longtime Kelseyville resident, was born in Yakima, Wash., to Virgil D. and Ellen Mae Cooper. 

He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1949 and fought in the Korean War. 

After his discharge he worked in various agricultural jobs.

In 2004 Jim moved to Yountville Veterans Home, where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his sister, Gayle Jackson.
