Brian (aka B) Owen is now in the arms of Jesus. He left this life in a car accident in the San Diego area on Nov. 28, 2012. He was 30 years old.

He leaves behind his mother Debbie Taber of Clearlake, father Don Owen of Nevada, sister Christine of Clearlake, brothers Bret and Brandon of Nevada, Aunt Denise and Uncle Burl, Uncles Eric and Rory, niece Alexandra (his little princess), nephew Cory (his little man), and his other brothers (you know who you are, too many to name!), numerous cousins and family, and lots of friends.

Brian grew up in Clearlake, attended Lower Lake High School and has spent the past two years living and working in San Diego. He was a manager at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in the San Diego area.

He will be remembered for his great smile, kindness to others, the love he had for his family and friends. Brian is loved by so many and will be missed beyond words. He lived and loved life to the fullest. People who walk in love, never quit – they love until they draw their last breath.

Visitation (viewing) will be Friday, Dec. 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Jones and Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main St., Lower Lake, Calif.

Please join us for A Celebration of Brian’s Life that will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 8, at a private home in Clearlake – 3560 Youngs Lane (off of Burns Valley Road – watch for “Brian” signs). We will have an outdoor celebration and if you would like, please bring a dish to share. Please bring any photos (or a photo board for display) that you may want to share of Brian. For us, death is not a goodbye; it’s a “see you later.” God’s people never say goodbye for the last time.
