LAKEPORT, Calif – The Scotts Valley Community Advisory Council will hold its next meeting on Monday, March 22.

The group will meet at 5 p.m. via Zoom.

There will be an open forum during the meeting for community members to share their concerns and ideas with District 4 Supervisor Tina Scott.

The council will host guest speaker Magdalena Valderrama, director/project manager for the Seigler Springs Community Redevelopment Association, community-based regional coordinator for Firewise Communities and member of the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network.

Valderrama will discuss what Firewise Communities are and how to form one.

Under old business, the council will discuss the bridge approach over Scotts Creek at Scotts Valley Road and Hendricks, applications for membership and the enabling ordinance, and dumping on Eickhoff Road.
