CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Lake County Fire Protection District will hold a community wildfire preparation open house on Saturday, May 5.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the district’s main station at 14815 Olympic Drive in Clearlake and its Lower Lake station on Main Street.

There will be information on defensible space and wildland fire prevention, information on child safety seats and the Healthy Heart Program, concussion awareness and file of life, along with hot dogs and drinks.
