LAKEPORT, Calif. – A new schedule has been released for the Free Kitchen Project dinners offered in Lakeport.
“These hot meals are open to everyone, children are welcome. It is a great to to come, eat and socialize,” said Pastor Shannon of United Christian Parish.
The new schedule is:

First Sunday: Prepared and served at United Christian Parish, 745 N. Brush St.

Second Sunday: Seventh-day Adventist Church, Hill and Park Way.

Third Sunday: Prepared by Kiwanis and various service organizations and served at United Christian Parish, 745 No. Brush St.

Fourth Sunday: Lakeport Senior Activity Center, 527 Konocti Ave.

Fifth Sunday: Lakeport Senior Activity Center, 527 Konocti Ave.
All meals are served from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“We are happy to support such a needed community effort,” said Lakeport Senior Activity Center Director Jonathan Crooks. “We invite everyone to come and enjoy a delicious meal with your local friends.”
Free Kitchen has been in existence for more than 25 years, serving all.
Sponsorship has continually been a cooperative effort between local churches and community service organizations with rotating serving locations.
Additional meals are delivered to Freedom House.
