CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Friends of Lake County Library will hold its quarterly book sale from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Redbud Library, 14785 Burns Valley Road in Clearlake.

There will be a special “book bag” sale in which supporters can purchase a book bag and fill it with as many books, CDs and DVDs as it will hold for $15.

Proceeds from the book sale support libraries of Lake County and assist in keeping library materials updated.

Proceeds also assist in purchasing needed items for children's sections of the libraries.

Friends of Lake County Library is seeking to increase its membership. Membership categories include student/senior for $15 and adult/family for $25. Other donor memberships also are available.
