LAKEPORT, Calif. – Linda Guebert, local educator and author, will read from her memoir, “The Hardest Thing I’ll Ever Do,” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Lakeport Library, 1425 N. High St.
Guebert lost her husband Ken Kysely in a car crash nine months after their wedding.
Her book lays bare the sorrow and pain that she felt as she learned to live as a widow and to find hope and joy again.
Guebert says that she hopes that sharing her experience will help other people with their own losses.
