LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – In observance of  2012 Summer of Peace Barbara Christwitz will be leading  peace dances two evenings later this month.

The dances will begin at 6 p.m.

The first will take place at the gazebo at Clearlake’s Austin Park, 14077 Lakeshore Drive, on Saturday, July 21.

The second dance will take place at the Library Park gazebo on Park Street on Sunday, July 22.

For each dance Christwitz will teach the simple melodic peace chants before teaching the easy movements to go with the chants.  

The dances are for people of all ages and no dancing or musical experience is required.  

The purpose of peace dancing is to celebrate the joy of personal and world peace through movement and song.
