The groups said that tickets are now on sale for “Bluegrass at the Ely,” a music and crafts festival to be held at the Ely Stage Stop & Country Museum on Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9.
Featured will be Pat Ickes & Bound to Ride, Barwick and Siegfried, Thin Air String Band, Cobb Stompers, Uncorked and the Konocti Fiddle Club.
There will also be music workshops for those who want to pick up some tips from expert performers.
Local crafts, beverages and food vendors will be featured at the festival. Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chair and to leave their pets at home.
“This is our first outdoors bluegrass benefit concert in over five years and we are planning a fun afternoon,” said AMIA Board Member Don Coffin. “We hope that the community will turn out to support both AMIA and the Historical Society.”
Tickets will be $20 at the gate and $15 in advance.
Advanced tickets can be purchased now at the Catfish Coffeehouse in Clearlake, at Watershed Books in Lakeport and online at www.andersonmarsh.org.
