COBB, Calif. – A magnitude 3.0 quake was reported in the Cobb area on Thursday afternoon.
The quake occurred at 4:49 p.m. Thursday, according to the US Geological Survey.
It was centered one mile west of Cobb and 11 miles southwest of Clearlake at a depth of 1.1 miles, survey records stated.
As of 10:30 p.m. Thursday, eight shake reports had been filed from the Kelseyville area and one from Middletown, the US Geological Survey reported.
The Cobb area had three quakes measuring magnitude of 3.0 or above on March 20 and 21, as Lake County News has reported.
