KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Lake County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's assistance in the investigation into the discovery of a man's body late Sunday.
Lt. Steve Brooks said that at approximately 10:16 p.m. Sunday sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a male subject lying on the ground outside of a vehicle in an orchard located in the area of Stone Drive and Scully Packing Company in Kelseyville.
Brooks said the man was determined to be deceased at the scene under what he called “suspicious circumstances.”
The vehicle appeared to have been involved in an accident, Brooks said.
