LAKEPORT, Calif. – “Lake County Live!,” the original live musical comedy production presented at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre in Lakeport, returns this Sunday, Oct. 27.
The show begins at 6 p.m.
“Lake County Live!” is produced before a live theater audience, broadcast on Lake County Community Radio KPFZ 88.1 FM and streamed on the Internet at www.kpfz.org .
This month's show marks the 22nd outing for this locally produced program.
“I continue to be amazed at the artistry of our musicians and the appreciation shown by our audiences both here in the theater and on the air and internet,” said show creator and host Doug Rhoades.
“This month, we're welcoming back the Rural Jazz Project, featuring several very talented local musicians, including Tom Aiken on piano, Jim Leonardis on sax, Dave Borjon on hand drums and Rick LeVasseur on bass,” Rhoades said. “We'll also introduce our audience to Sid the Werewolf, and have a special Halloween edition of Ladies of the Lake.”
Lake County Live! is performed and aired the last Sunday of each month at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport.
Tickets for the show are available at the theater box office on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., online at www.soperreesetheatre.com and at the Travel Center, 1265 S. Main St. in Lakeport.
The show is rebroadcast the Saturday after the live performance on KPFZ 88.1 FM at 7 a.m.
