LUCERNE, Calif. – A three-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon partially blocked Highway 20 and left several people with minor injuries.
The crash occurred at around 2:42 p.m. on E. Highway 20 at Rosemont Drive near the Davis Rest Area.
Firefighters arriving at the scene a few minutes later reported that the crash had blocked the highway's eastbound lane and left two of the vehicles with moderate damage, based on scanner traffic.
When firefighters arrived they found six crash victims, all of whom appeared to have suffered minor injuries.
The vehicles involved included a green Pontiac sedan and a silver Honda sedan, both of which had rear-end damage, and a full-sized white Ford pickup with minor damage to its front end.
One-way traffic control was put in place as rescue personnel worked at the scene and the vehicles were removed from the roadway. A tow company was dispatched from Upper Lake.
