Lakeport Police Department issues updated traffic advisory for Hartley Street

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department said a portion of Hartley Street shut down Monday afternoon due to a vehicle crash and downed power lines has been reopened, but work is still going on at the site.

Hartley Street had temporarily been closed on from 17th to 20th streets due to downed utility lines in the roadway, as Lake County News has reported.

Police said that the roadway had been reopened to traffic shortly before 1:45 p.m.

However, the Lakeport Police Department said officers are still in the area investigation the crash.

Additionally, Pacific Gas and Electric crews are expected to be on site for the remainder of the day replacing a broken power pole, police said.
