LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The two men seeking to become the next supervisor for District 3 will meet for a debate on Monday, Oct. 27.
John Brosnan of Upper Lake and Jim Steele of Clearlake Oaks will sit down to answer questions and put forward their qualifications at the event, sponsored by Lake County News and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce.
The debate will begin at 6 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
The public is invited to attend the debate, which also will be recorded for rebroadcast.
Emerging from a field of six candidates in the June primary, Brosnan and Steele are in a November runoff for the seat currently head by Supervisor Denise Rushing, who is planning to leave the board when her second term expires at the end of this year.
