LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – It’s that time of the year again, the time when high school seniors look toward the colleges of their choice, and try to figure out how to pay for it.

Lake County Theatre Co. is offering a scholarship to assist in this process.

As a theater company, LCTC is most interested in students who have shown an interest in theater during their high school years.

This would include persons who have provided production assistance for performances in such areas as lighting, sound, set design, directing and producing.

Of course, those who have actually performed a role in any theater productions will be strongly considered.

The amount offered in this scholarship is $500.

The requirements for application include a 500 word essay, a copy of a full high school transcript, a resume of theatrical experience and a sealed letter of recommendation from a person familiar with the student’s dedication and talent in the field of theater.
