Red Hills Winery: Minor use permit for a small winery

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND MINOR USE PERMIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration based on Initial Study IS 12–13 and approving MINOR USE PERMIT MUP 12-06 for a small winery with an annual production of fifteen thousand cases or less and a tasting room with incidental retail sales of wine-related merchandise.  

The project applicant is Red Hills Winery.  

The project is located at 8267 Red Hills Road, Kelseyville, CA; APN 011-056-36.  

The proposed mitigated negative declaration, initial study and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration and proposed conditions of approval are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.

The Zoning Administrator will approve this project with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 pm, March 8, 2013.  Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on March 13, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Lake County Courthouse.
