LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Republican Women group will host Sheriff Brian Martin at its luncheon meeting on Wednesday, April 8.

The group will meet at 11:30 a.m. at TNT on the Lake, 2599 Lakeshore Blvd., Lakeport.

As the county's newly elected sheriff, Martin has wasted no time in moving the department in a new direction with integrity, cooperation and strong communications as hallmarks of the modern Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

A graduate of Clear Lake High School, Martin is a family man. His wife, Crystal, works as a victim advocate for child abuse and sexual assault victims in the District Attorney's Office Victim-Witness Division. They have three children, a daughter and two sons.

His prior experience uniquely qualifies him for his current position. Come and hear what your sheriff has to share.

Lunch will include your choice of chicken tostada with sour cream, guacamole, beans, lettuce, salsa and cheese; a cheeseburger with black Angus beef, sesame bun, cheddar cheese and cross-cut fries; or the low-cal salad served in a crisp tortilla bowl filled with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cheese and grilled chicken breast. There also will be coffee, hot tea or iced tea.

Throw back Wednesday prices are $20 each.
