Police arrest four suspects allegedly found with drugs, burglary tools

LAKEPORT, Calif. – An enforcement stop on a suspicious vehicle late last week led to the arrests of four individuals allegedly found in possession of drugs and burglary tools.

Lakeport Police Sgt. Kevin Odom said the traffic stop on Friday, Jan. 6, resulted in the arrests of Santa Rosans Francisco Scott Cervantes, 30; Samantha Jean Sullivan, 21; Leslie Dale Spadoni, 34; and Celeste Ann Delasantos, 32.

At 10:20 p.m. Jan. 6 Lakeport Police Sgt. Jason Ferguson was patrolling in the 1200 block of Craig Avenue when he observed a vehicle pull out of a secluded area at Craig Avenue's dead end, Odom reported.

Odom said the vehicle appeared to be suspicious to Ferguson based on the commercial area, time of day and recent burglary reports in the area.

Ferguson stopped the vehicle and found that the driver, Cervantes, was unlicensed and on parole for vehicle theft, Odom said.

The vehicle's three passengers included Sullivan, Spadoni and Delasantos. Odom said Sullivan was found to be a convicted felon on probation for burglary, and Spadoni recently was released from parole for possession of stolen property.

Odom said numerous keys, punch type tools, radios and other items allegedly used to commit thefts were located throughout the vehicle during the course of the investigation. Suspected methamphetamine was located in passenger compartment of the vehicle.

All four suspects were arrested and booked at the Lake County Jail, Odom said.

Cervantes' booking sheet said he was booked for a felony parole violation and possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor driving without a license and possession of burglary tools. He is being held without bail due to the alleged parole violation, and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, jail records showed.

Spadoni was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, with bail set at $15,000. He is scheduled to appear in court March 19, according to his booking sheet.

Delasantos was booked on three felonies – possession of a narcotic controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and bringing drugs into a jail – and a misdemeanor count of possession of burglary tools, according to arrest records. Like Spadoni, Delasantos also is scheduled to appear on March 19 in Lake County Superior Court.

Sullivan was booked for a felony probation violation and misdemeanor possession of burglary tools. Jail records indicated she was being held without bail and had been set for arraignment Tuesday.

Jail records showed that Sullivan and Cervantes remained in custody on Tuesday, while Spadoni and Delasantos appeared to have been released.
