LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Pentecost, based on Acts 2:1-31, is a festival of the Christian church occurring on the seventh Sunday after Easter, to celebrate the descent of the Holy Ghost upon the disciples.

In the verses noted, we hear Peter speaking to the eleven, clearing their relationship to God and God's will as it also does for the enlightening of all believers.

For that get-up-early place to worship, join our Potter Valley United Methodist Church, 10075 Main St., Potter Valley, at 9 a.m.
