James Bluewolf to speak at Unitarian service July 19

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Lake County storyteller, former poet laureate and songwriter James Bluewolf will be the speaker at the service of the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County on Sunday, July 19.

The service begins at 11 a.m. at the church, located at 3810 Main St. in Kelseyville.

Guests are welcome.

Bluewolf’s topic is, “Anticipating Ends: The Transition from Natural to Artificial Life.”

Bluewolf will discuss messianic religion, its effect on natural peoples, and the unanticipated direction of technological progress as it relates to currently established moral, ethical and spiritual ideals.

Unitarian Universalism affirms that inspiration and meaning may be found in many sources, including the natural world, personal experience, history and religious tradition.
