Tuesday, May 15


3:48 p.m. Man who officials thought had fallen from a vehicle in front of the Harbor Bar & Grill on Highway 20 actually ran out in front of a vehicle and was struck. Thomas Rice, 27, taken to hospital. CHP reports they believed he was drunk and running across the road.


5:56 p.m. Traffic collision with no injuries on Government Street at Highway 20 in Upper Lake. Red Honda Civic versus a dark red Scion.


7:28 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 just west of Walker Ridge Road.


Monday, May 14


10:24 a.m. Large rock, smaller than a basketball, in the roadway on northbound Highway 29 at the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff.


12:06 p.m. Large piece of metal in the northbound lane of Highway 29 just south of Live Oak Drive.


3:28 p.m. Traffic collision with minor injuries on Butts Canyon Road just west of the Napa County line. Solo vehicle off the roadway, rolled over into a ravine. Winch needed to pull car out.


3:32 p.m. Manhole cover off on Highway 29 at Highway 175/Hopland.


3:36 p.m. Bison belonging to Supervisor Rob Brown loose on Bottle Rock Road at Cold Creek Road. Per Brown, bison has been put back.


4:35 p.m. Male riding a bicycle who appears to have been drinking is riding in the lanes of eastbound Highway 29 just east of Nice.


5:47 p.m. Two large black cows in the roadway on Highway 29 one-quarter mile south of Bottle Rock Road.


8:13 p.m. White female with two teenagers staggering in the road on eastbound Highway 20 at Glenhaven.


9:15 p.m. Utility cones in the roadway on Soda Bay Road in front of the movie theater.

 

 

Sunday, May 13


10:58 a.m. – Solo vehicle into a hillside on Highway 175/Hopland Grade at mile marker 4.85. No injuries reported.


9:44 a.m. – Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 at Cache Creek.


9:53 a.m. – Traffic collision on Highway 175/Hopland Grade, four to five miles from Highway 29. Solo motorcycle went off the road and hit the guardrail. The rider has minor injuries. REACH transported the rider to the hospital.


10:41 a.m. – Blue Blazer parked in the road at 7030 Highway 20 and causing a hazard.


8:16 p.m. – White Chevy pickup parked in the road and causing a traffic hazard on Stahli Drive at Bell Hill.


9:08 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Soda Bay Road at Clear Lake Riviera grocery store. Solo vehicle is on fire and exploding. Car is completely engulfed in flames. No one is seen exiting the vehicle.


11:10 p.m. – Vehicle with the hood up on southbound Highway 29, two miles south of Konocti Conservation Camp. Partially in the roadway and causing a hazard.


Saturday, May 12


5:01 p.m. – Red Ford Explorer disabled along northbound Highway 29 just south of Hill Road.


5:05 p.m. – Blue truck causing a hazard on Highway 29 just north of the Napa/Lake County line.


5:18 p.m. – White SUV disabled along northbound Highway 29 just south of the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff.


5:48 p.m. – Vehicle causing a hazard on southbound Highway 29 just south of Calistoga Water Co. on Mount St. Helena.


6:58 p.m. – AAA request on Highway 29 at the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff.


Friday, May 11


7:08 a.m. – Debris in the roadway on Highway 29 at Siegler Canyon.


8:10 a.m. – Yellow dog hit by a car and still alive on Highway 53 at Olympic.


8:31 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 29 at Park and Ride area in Lakeport.


11:57 a.m. – Traffic hazard on Highway 29 at Bayshore Marine.


5:52 p.m. – Traffic collision involving a Chevy Cobalt and a Ford Mustang on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff at Lakeshore. Individual transported to Sutter Lakeside with minor injuries.


7:31 p.m. – Ambulance responding to an accident involving an ATV on Bender in Lucerne. Rider hit a dip and went over the handlebars. Transported to Sutter Lakeside.


7:31 p.m. – Large tree across the roadway on Northshore at Boren Bega. Roadway completely blocked.


Thursday, May 10


9:57 a.m. – Two-vehicle traffic collision with minor injuries on southbound Highway 29 just north of Bayshore Marine.


9:48 a.m. – Car versus an SUV with no injuries on southbound Highway 29 just north of Kit's Corner, Kelseyville.


10:48 a.m. – Tire tread in the roadway and causing a hazard on Highway 281, one-quarter mile east of Kit's Corner.


Wednesday, May 9


5:24 a.m. – Deer injured but still alive along Highway 29 just north of Lower Lake at Day's Supply.


7:34 a.m. – Disabled vehicle on northbound Highway 29 just north of Pt. Lakeview.


8:27 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries at the Kelseyville Unified bus barn. Loaded school bus hit guard rail.


5:48 p.m. – Skateboard ramp causing a hazard on Coyote Valley Road at the elementary school. The ramp was moved from the roadway.


7:13 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries at 3690 Lakeshore just north of Parkway. Single vehicle has rolled over and is in a ditch. Vehicle reportedly was speeding prior to accident.


7:46 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 20 at Pine Street. White Ford Escort versus a green 4x4.


Tuesday, May 8


7:03 a.m. – Two horses, one tan and one dark brown, on the road at Crystal Lake Way at Howard.


5:08 p.m. – White SUV ran off the roadway on southbound Highway 29 at the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff. Ambulance responding.


9:19 p.m. – Large box in the middle of the roadway on northbound Highway 29 just north of Lower Lake.


9:38 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on northbound Highway 29 at Epidendio.


9:43 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on Highway 29 at Kelsey Creek.


Monday, May 7


7:07 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 29 at Tower Mart in Lower Lake. Small pickup with a full-size white car. Caltrans called to bring a sweeper to clean up glass in the roadway.


7:40 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 29 at Pt. Lakeview Road. Silver Pontiac Grand Am versus a silver Dodge Intrepid.


8:26 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 53 at Highway 20. Red SUV versus a white pickup. Significant fuel spill at the scene.


1:58 p.m. – Three cows loose on Siegler Canyon Road at Highway 29.


2:48 p.m. – Unspecified traffic hazard on westbound Highway 20 at mile post marker 32.


5:34 p.m. – Traffic hazard on Highway 29 at Hill Road overcrossing.


7:01 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on Highway 29 at Bayshore Marine.


7:07 p.m. Vehicle sitting in the curve on Bell Hill Road at Stahli.

 

Sunday, May 6


10:44 a.m. Lines and a tree in the roadway on Bottle Rock Road, one mile up from Cobb. PG&E called.


2:01 p.m. Traffic collision with ambulance responding reported on Highway 175/Hopland at the large turnout. Vehicle may be over the side. Later reported that the vehicle has been there for some time.


2:41 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 near the Lake/Colusa County line.


5:17 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 just east of Blue Lakes Road.


5:42 p.m. Traffic collision involving an ATV, with major injuries, at Cow Mountain. ATV reported off the paved portion of the road.


10:03 p.m. Traffic collision with no injuries on eastbound Highway 175/Hopland, seven miles west of Highway 29. Vehicle struck the embankment.


Saturday, May 5


3:12 p.m. Disabled vehicle on eastbound Highway 20 at Saratoga Springs.


5:35 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Kragen in Clearlake.


6:58 p.m. Red Dodge pickup truck versus a telephone pole on Highway 20 one-half mile west of Bartlett Springs Road, Nice. Ambulance responding. Later determined there are no injuries.


7:08 p.m. Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Butts Canyon Road, Middletown.


9:37 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Highway 53 at Anderson Marsh.


Friday, May 4


6:15 a.m. Big rig stalled on westbound Highway 20 just east of Highway 53.


9:23 a.m. Small brown dog running in the road on Church Street, causing a hazard.


1:08 p.m. Individual wandering in and out of traffic at Highway 175/Hopland, one mile west of Highway 29.


3:49 p.m. Traffic collision with no injuries at Highway 20 at Lakeshore in Nice. Green Ford Escort versus a white Honda versus a black GMS Sierra.


3:49 p.m. Traffic collision with no injuries on Sherwood Court at Sixth near Highway 20. Blue Toyota Camry versus a red Ford Tempo.


4:18 p.m. Tire in the middle of the road on Highway 29 between Soda Bay Road at the feed store.


5:09 p.m. Loose dog on Highway 175/Hopland at Highway 29. Dog is impeding traffic.


5:21 p.m. Person riding a motorized wheelchair in the lane on Lakeshore at Hill Road.


8:23 p.m. Disabled vehicle on eastbound Highway 20 just west of Blue Lakes.


9:22 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Pt. Lakeview Road at Bayliss.


Thursday, May 3


7:53 a.m. White Ford pickup versus a gold Geo-type vehicle on southbound Highway 29 at Middletown High School. No injuries reported.


8:55 a.m. Disabled vehicle on eastbound Highway 20 at Catholic Church Road.


5:41 p.m. Traffic collision with no injuries at Hardester's. Vehicle hit a parked car and almost hit two others.


8:10 p.m. Vehicle blocking the lane on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff.


Wednesday, May 2


7:06 a.m. Animal on the road on Highway 29 just north of Twin Pines Casino. Horse has its hoof caught in the fence.


8:26 a.m. Red Ford F150 pickup versus a silver Jeep Liberty with no injuries at Lake and Jesse streets in Lower Lake.


10:19 a.m. Disabled vehicle on Highway 29 just north of St. Helena. It's reported that no tow company would want this vehicle and parties state it will be moved by tomorrow.


12:33 p.m. Children playing in the street on Douglas near Main Street. Won't move for traffic.


9:15 p.m. Vehicle partially blocking Highway 29 at Main Street.


9:44 p.m. Silver duct tape stretched across Todd Road near Hamburger Hill.


Tuesday, May 1


9:12 a.m. Traffic collision with minor injuries on Highway 20 at New Long Valley Road. Vehicle rollover off the highway.


9:15 a.m. Vehicle versus deer on Highway 20 at 9948 El Dorado Way at Fairway, Kelseyville.


11:53 a.m. Traffic collision with no injuries on eastbound Highway 20 in front of Sentry Market.
