NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE LAKE COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATOR FOR CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR CANNABIS  CULTIVATION  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Zoning Administrator will hold a public  hearing on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C of the Lake  County Courthouse, located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453 if a hearing is  requested. 

If no requests for hearing are received, no hearing will occur. If you request a hearing,  the request must be made in writing and submitted to the Lake County Planning  Department no later than February 10, 2023. Hearing requests can be made by email;  send a request for a hearing to the email address listed below.

REQUEST: Commercial Cannabis Cultivation, eight (8) 24’ x 96’ greenhouses for 18,432 sf of  mixed-light cultivation area (approximately 9,900 sf of canopy) 

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION LOCATION: 8179 Highway 29, Lower Lake (APN: 011-069-08)

A staff report will be available for review no less than 72 hours prior to the hearing upon  request. If you challenge the action of the Lake County Zoning Administrator on any of the  above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing  described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Zoning  Administrator at, or prior to, the public hearing.
