BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXTEND THE INTERIM URGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 3107 RELATED TO A MORATORIUM IMPOSING A TEMPORARY PROHIBITION ON THE ISSUANCE OF EARLY ACTIVATION PERMITS FOR LAND USE PROJECTS WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF LAKE COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, adopted an Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 3107 on July 27, 2021. Pursuant to Government Code section 65858, the Lake County Board of Supervisors declares its intention to extend an Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 3107 pursuant to Government Code section 65858 et. seq. for ten (10) months and fifteen (15) days.  

The written report of the measures taken to alleviate the conditions giving rise to the adoption of Urgency Ordinance No. 3107 has been issued and is available to the public at the Courthouse bulletin boards, Community Development Webpage and the County and Community Development Facebook.  

Pursuant to Government Code 65090 the Lake County Board of Supervisors hereby provides public notice of a public hearing concerning the intent to extend the Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 3107 to be held August 31, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Board Chambers located at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport California.  Due to COVID-19 health crisis, this meeting be held both in-person (masks required) and virtually via Zoom and participant information will be made available on the upcoming agenda.  Any interested party may make an objection, present information, or make comment about this intention to extend Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 3107.  

Individuals planning to participate in the public meeting who need a special accommodation because of sensory impairment/disability, or have a need for an interpreter, please contact the Administrative Office at (707) 263-2580 to arrange for those accommodations to be made.  Notification 48 hours prior to meeting will enable the County to make reasonable accommodations to assure accessibility at the meeting.
