Middletown blood drive planned July 19

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Vitalant – formerly Blood Centers of the Pacific – will host a blood dive in Middletown on Friday, July 19.

The blood drive will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the Calpine Geothermal Visitor Center, 15500 Central Park Road.

All donors should review blood donor qualifications prior to making an appointment.

Donors are encouraged to make an appointment, and arrive well-nourished and hydrated. Photo identification with first and last name is required.

The donation process takes approximately one hour; add an additional 20 minutes for a double red cell donation.

Donors can complete the health questionnaire online prior to arriving to the drive – visit http://vitalant.org and click the ‘Health History Questionnaire’ link. The questionnaire must be completed the same day as the donation.
