Carle Chronicle: What goes around comes around

A short update from Carlé High School, we start this article out with a big thanks to Josh Borba, Paul Silsby and Alex Meek for filming the Lower Lake Elementary talent show. We love to be part of this wonderful community and events like this really help us see the joy of community service.

When Josh returned to Lower Lake Elementary with five copies of all the photos on a DVD the school's students greeted them enthusiastically and thanked them for all their help. In addition they thanked them with candy.

We have always known at Carlé that what goes around comes around and we are thrilled to help out.

With this, we would like to announce that the Carlé High School's own talent show will be on March 27, so be ready!

Once again there is more community service for Carlé High. The cioppino dinner was held on Friday, Feb. 13. There was no bad luck here because we had the wonderful help of seven Carlé students. We would like to thank Dylan Sheldon, Amanda Tchamourian, Kodi Burr, Ashley Wiebusch, Jamilia

Parker, Marquice Lamar and Bonny Passley.

The next dinner that we will volunteer for community service will be on Feb. 28. The local Rotary will be hosting a seafood broil dinner. Once again we are excited to be there helping out.

On top of that, we held a Lake County Land Trust community service here at Carlé. We would like to thank Cody Endicott, Stacy Fedewa, Kenneth Horton, Taylor Lopez, Domineque Lozada, Will McAllister, Monica McGaffey, Michelle Perry-Alden, Gloria Rojas, Kaitlyn Schneider, Ben Sheridan, Kinesha Wilson, Gray Winter, Joe Maggio and Deserae Schackford. All of these students helped Susanne Scholz fill letters, seal and stamp them to be sent for donations. Their help was well appreciated on Wednesday, Feb. 11, and on Thursday, Feb. 12.

We would like to thank Heidi Morgan who will be having the next choir date on Feb. 18.

Last but not least, we would like to thank our tutor Pat. She has given us the opportunity of “Study Island,” which will help prepare students for the all-famous CAHSEE test. What would we do without her? Thank you Pat, and thank you all of Carlé for such wonderful help.

Amanda Tchamourian is a student at Carlé High School in Lower Lake.
