Moug named to St. Mary's College dean's list

ST. MARY'S CITY, Maryland — A student from Hidden Valley Lake, Calif., has received academic recognition at St. Mary's College of Maryland.

Jay Moug was awarded dean's list honors for academic achievement during the fall 2021 semester at St. Mary's College of Maryland, the National Public Honors College.

Dean's list honors are awarded to full-time students at St. Mary's College who earn a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or better on 12 or more graded credits.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, the National Public Honors College, is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education through 2024-2025.

It is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

Approximately 1,600 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
