A basketball tournament was held between teams gathered by Carlé students. The student winners of the tournament each received their own medals. They were Travis Conine, Justin Duncan, Dre'Shon Hunter and Atlee Erickson. We are making a school team now, and we are starting competition with other schools soon, and hopefully we will win.

New representatives have been elected into our student government for the end of this year. The student government has been organizing the upcoming prom that will be held on May 10 right here on our campus. Tickets are already being sold to students, and everyone is very excited. It's obvious that springtime is in full swing.

The weather has been warm and clear every day this week, and it creates a noticeable difference in how things are going at school. Everyone is more energetic and things are moving much faster than in the winter months.

The end of the year is approaching very fast. The second-to-last grading period is ending now, meaning we have less than three months of school left.

Though summer is exciting, many of our seniors who are graduating are trying to enjoy their last days at Carlé, before they move on to the next stage of their lives to do things like seek higher education and building their careers. For some students it can be hard to fathom life after high school, but the goal of Carlé is to prepare our students so they can live it successfully.

The student of the week this week is the hard working Kristina Micheletti. She is a good student who works diligently in making as many credits as she can. We would like to congratulate her on being this week's student of the week!
