It has been a great week here at Carlé!

In this past week we have acquired two new ping pong tables! One was given to us by the wonderful family of one of our own students, Kelly Campo. The other was acquired for us by our principal, Bill MacDougall, and paid for by our student government.

Because of the new ping pong tables, we decided to have a Ping Pong Tournament. We will update you on the winners of the tournament next week.

We also concluded our mug making contest, and everyone won! Everyone who entered a design into the contest received a free mug with their design on it.

One of our teachers, Alan Siegel, was offered a chance to host a television show on the Travel Channel. That would be very exciting to have one of our own teachers being on television and traveling the world!

Each one of our teachers received training for our new Smart-Boards on Oct. 17 and 18. We would like to thank Jason Orbaugh of SMART Technologies for training our teachers so they can use our new technology effectively to help better their student's education. Jason and SMART donated their time for this endeavor.

On Oct. 24 Pam Bordisso will be a guest in our careers class. On Oct. 26 15 to 20 kids will attend a career day class at Yuba College.

We would like to congratulate last week's student of the week, Andre Ari. He was made student of the week for his hard work in making great music everyday, as well as being a great student in his classes.
