1941-2022

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — In loving memory of Godfrey Luke John Sr., A.K.A Shadom, 81 years old, where he stayed at Elem Indian Colony but was an elder member of Big Valley Rancheria.

He left us on Nov. 17, 2022.

He was a hard worker and worked as a security guard of Robinson and Elem, as well as being a
field worker.

He was predeceased by Godfrey Jr., Lawrence Jr., Harmon, Marstin, Milfred and Jeremy.

He left behind his love, Martha; his sister, Charlotte; his kids, Renee, Adrian, Ko-e-ya and Houghton; his grandchildren, Xae-li, Vanessa, Isa, Lil Adrian, Lil Elk, Jordan, Mya, Jazzmyne, Damien, Houghton Jr., Laylah, Nations, Bibbz and Tub Tub; and his great-grandchildren, Godfrey, Lil Jeremy, Baby J and one on the way.

We will be bringing him home to Elem Indian Colony Reservation on Friday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. and will be there for four days where we will then be burying him on Monday, Nov. 28, at Elem Indian Colony.

He will be greatly missed, and may he rest in peace.
