Harold Raymond Say
June 11, 1949 — July 18, 2022

NORTH COAST, Calif. — Harold had a passion for fishing, reading books and telling you his stories. His grandchildren were his whole world.

He had an extensive military career starting in Vietnam to the seven-day war and ending his career in naval investigation, but he was by far happier at home with his friends, children and grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Norma Say; late wives, Irine Say and Cheryl Harrop; brothers and sisters, Laura Lee Mason, Donald Say, John Edmond, Gene Warren and Becky Noonkester; and son-in-love, Jon Bloker.

Harold leaves behind a brother, Eddy Warren; children, Nathan (Delynn) Say, Jeremy Say, Chris (Tammy) Beavers, Lisa Bloker, Alice (Blake) Say-Davidson, Deborah and (Emmitt) Vaughan, Larry Beavers and Joey Say; grandchildren, Cody and Austin Bloker, Jesse Trevino, James (Andrea) Beavers, Jason (Emily Gray-Stowell), Emily R. Stowell, Andrew Say, Eric Say, Nate Say, Dylessa Say, Hunter and Willow Say-Davidson.

Harold had many nieces and nephews, cousins, great nieces/nephews and numerous extended family and friends who adored him!

Harold's wishes were for his ashes to be both scattered and buried.

A graveside interment of his ashes will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Cemetery District of the Redwoods, 1200 State Highway 20 in Willits.

His remaining ashes will be set free on the same day with the ship leaving Noyo Harbor at 1 p.m.
